BidHouse ("we", "our", "the app") is a live auction marketplace operated by Saqer Tech. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using BidHouse you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a secure hash).
Profile and listings: username, photos you upload for auction listings, item descriptions.
Transactions: bids, orders, wallet balance, deposits, and payment history. Card details are processed by our licensed payment provider; we never store full card numbers.
Shipping details: delivery addresses you add.
Identity verification: if you sell on BidHouse, we may collect identity documents to verify your account.
Device data: push notification token, device type, and app version, used to deliver notifications and improve the app.
Biometric login: Face ID / fingerprint authentication happens entirely on your device. We never receive or store your biometric data — your device only tells us the check succeeded.

2. How we use your information

To operate the marketplace: run auctions, process bids, complete orders, and handle payments in Jordanian Dinar (JOD).
To send you service notifications (outbid alerts, auction results, order updates).
To verify sellers, prevent fraud, and keep the marketplace safe.
To provide customer support and resolve disputes between buyers and sellers.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Sharing

We share data only with: our payment processor (to process payments), delivery partners (name, address, and phone for shipping won items), other users where necessary for a transaction (e.g., a seller sees the buyer's shipping details), and authorities when required by law.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time from the app (Profile → Settings) or by contacting us at the address below. Transaction records may be retained where the law requires.

5. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, and sensitive tokens are stored in your device's secure storage (Keychain / Keystore).

6. Children

BidHouse is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
